May 2012 Roll Call

Hey Jamie first off you know who I am and I need you to fix the fact that it is taking so long for May to get here...lol. Couldn't resist.....lol

 

Yes we too were bummed but that is the way it goes. We dont get in until 12:40 the 3rd so we will make the best of it at the sexy pool drinks are on us! Will be fun to see the cruisers stumblle in.
We were thinking about walking down to the ferry the 5th or 6th and hitting Isla Mujeres-renting a golf cart, getting some drinks and finding a sexy beach like Playa norte and making our own mini Boobs Cruise-wont be quite the same but when in mexico

Your days will last for 150 hours between now and when you get there, and then last 2 while you are there until the 11th, when I arrive, and then they will go back to normal...

We are talking to friends about joining us for a few days. Question: Does Temptation just let people keep bookkeeping reservations or is there a point when they realize they're full and you get turned down? We think they just overbook now and worry about it later and told our friends that!

Technically they know when they are full.

But wholesalers have blocks of rooms they can book and the hotel looks at their past records of sales and may overbook just to keep from having empty rooms if they can.

They also might overbook for no shows, like the airlines do when they sell 110% of their seats on a plane.

But for the most part, the hotel is pretty good about not bumping people. It happens, but rarely lately.
