we have been to TTR once....we are going on vacation with another couple in august and are trying to figure how to get past TTR's "stigma" of a swinger resort....we dont really want to go to another resort, having experienced the awesomeness that is TTR....they are a more reserved couple but i think they would still have a great time at ttr....but how do you talk someone out of their comfort zone? any promo vids that really capture what ttr is like? i would send them to the website but hell, that thing kinda of screams sexuality to me
We have taken friends there in the past. quite conservative as well, they had a blast. I don't even think they clued into the whole stigma of the resort nor did I for the first few trips when it was still Blue Bay Getaway. Temptations, however has gotten a reputation that seems to stick with it. I say if you have pictures of the reosrt yourself then show them to them, explain the good times to them and make them want to be there. I don't think Temptations itself is a hard sell especially if they like to party some. Other resorts just can't offer the same thing. Good Luck.
Our first trip here we went with another couple. Really had to talk "HER" into going but once we got there they both were very comfortable and ready to party!!!!! We had never been before either but just went with the flow. Everyone had a great time!! Just convince them to go and they won't regret it!!!!
We are not swingers. We have been to TTR 4 times and although we have heard and read stories we have never seen anything that has caused us to feel uncomfortable. That being said we are a bit more "risque'". Everytime we go we want to push the envelope a little bit more! We are sick of peoples negative and close minded attitude towards TTR. To us, it is what ever you want it to be and make it!
We've never felt the resort had a swinger stigma....more like a drinking stigma maybe.... Just be honest with your friends and explain there will be people at the resort from all over the world and who knows what they might experience...and let it go at that..... It's their vacation turn'em loose and don't forget it's your vacation too........ ENJOY !!!!!

My gal was the same way & getting her to read this website & the TRs was actually the best way to get her to understand that the "lifestyle" thing is a non-issue. The only lifestyle that everyone shares is a PARTY lifestyle! :headbanger:
We will be bringing a "Vanilla" couple with us to TTR. They know about the "Lifestyle" and don't have an issue with it. Since they have been to Hedo with us and handled it well. We explained how tame TTR is as compared to Hedo. But, tame to us is wild for most! LOL
One of the good things about TTR is that you have lots of choices while you are there. Sexy Pool/beach/Quiet Pool? Early to rise or sleep in? Crash at dusk or party til dawn? The swinger issue has been the least of our worries when we have asked other couples or friends to come along with us.
