So I just called and they said that everything is going to be open including the hot tub the at least over April 12-22nd. Now I don't know who to believe.
You may be right, but some other person on hear was there last week and talked to a manger and was informed the 360 pool was being done last 2 weeks 2 months ago when I booked I was told by the hotel there would be no major construction only cosmetic facelift with little inconvenience to patrons. I,ve read reports of loud drilling and power interruptions and noise starting at 7 am.( reliable source) Don't know who to believe (re completion times) nobodies lying but how accurate is Mexican time,??, didn't want to take a chance. I hope they get done in a quick fashion and you enjoy your trip Cancelling the hotel was easy,,the flights is harder. We ended up booking TTR Cancun for same price but they are getting full
I guess we were lucky because we didn't notice any power issues last weekend. The loud drilling has to do with a well that is being done next to the jacuzzi. That has been going on since we were then in January. That is almost done. The GM said it was supposed to take 6 weeks but they ran into some large boulders/rock that delayed the completion. Although I don't have the exact dates, as I mentioned before, the jacuzzi is going to be worked on some time during April 16 -30.

Well, I got a response from Temptations itself vs just originalresorts. Thank you for your recent inquiry. There is no construction going on in the hotel. There are several renovations that we are having at the moment. The biggest one finished, enlarging Tentazione our pool side restaurant. There has been and will be room renovations for another few weeks, but they are not affecting in any way guest. Please let me know if you need more information.
