:icon_wink: For all the bad reviews your shoes have been getting on here lol - I think they are cute!! Safety first!
Here's an alternative: (1) Coat bottom of feet in paint. (2) Step in sand. (3) Allow to dry. (4) Have a non-slip day o' fun at sexy pool. Sanded paint makes outdoor staircases non-slip, so why not feet? Would be a much more subtle look than hot pink shoes and has the added benefit of exfoliating your feet. :icon_mrgreen:
Dude!! I had to sit through the mandatory parents meeting last week for my son's spring sports orientation and listen to a doctor talk about concussions for an hour and totally thought about you that week in Cancun! I am very lucky that didn't happen to me. I still can't believe how badly you nailed your eye :icon_eek: I slipped a bunch getting out of the pool the day it was raining. It was toward the end of the day so there was a lot of lotion in the water. Also, tons of alcohol was consumed so that was a huge factor. I also slipped getting out of our jacuzzi in our bathroom that same day - although by then I was so wasted I don't even remember falling flat on my face, I am basing the alleged report on comments from our friends who were with me in the tub :3some: I wish I would have remembered the biggest dick contest the guys had, of all the things to black out on <cry> Room parties are the best when it is raining outside! I am so not worried about what my feet look like in the pool, especially without a top on - don't think anyone will be looking at my feet. :flash: I am more worried about this type of shit on my legs: Or this: The bruise on the front of my leg is STILL showing a little, a month and a half later! I had about 6 other bruises on my legs that you can't see in that picture, and that is not so cool with Lingerie night or wearing mini dresses! I can get those water shoes in black and be perfectly happy with their "gecko grip action" on slick surfaces!
I have a pair of those, but I think I would have a he'll of a time getting all my toes in the holes after a 10 hr shift at the sexy pool. I'd probably tip over and drown in a hot tub. Its just best to drink so much you have to crawl back to your room.:ernaehrung005:
This is Kristin. These shoes are really hard to get use to. You need to wear a Nike ID with no socks to get your feet ready to wear those crazy shoes. Don't wear them for the first time at Temptation because bruises are much better then blisters and sore feet!
Well, I don't know about the gecko feet things, but I'll attest our first day there the steps were like glass for some reason, whether it was suntan lotion or some evil trick played to watch all the heavy drinkers try to walk around without slippin' & slidin'.... both at the pool & the rooms! If not for sheer luck I'd have had a couple of bruises like ya'lls!
Thank you! You guys remember that - and it was like walking on sheet ice in the shallow jetted area of the sexy pool! I'm glad I didn't actually see Mike when he fell (we were having the jacuzzi party in our room late that afternoon - lol), but when we saw him at Paty O's that night I couldn't believe his eye! And you saw my bruises - and I wasn't the only one. Someone else in our cancuncare group cut her foot on the edge of the pool tile. I may not get those exact shoes (the toes are kind of weird), but I own Crocs and those are not going to work (they don't have any grip on the soles, I just use them for gardening in my backyard). I wore my Keen sandals the last few days in the pool, but they never were able to dry out with all the humidity (the straps are thick). I will figure something out, but no more slipping and falling for me!! I saw some water shoes at DSW that might work.
