I always read up on what you ladies write... the scale still hasn't moved for me. I'm on week 2 of ripped in 30 with Jillian Michaels Was hoping that would help. I do that with Zumba abs. At least I can feel ab muscles I never had before! I'm a sucker in the food department. Can have a great day followed by a bad day. ugh if it were ever easy... well that's not life lol I lost 11 lbs before we went to TTR last July gained some back and lost it again. So I was excited about what I weighed in July when I went so since I weigh the same I should be happy I guess. Just wish more would come off. Once I get there I'll feel great and it won't matter! Keep up the great work ladies!!

Kim, I eat a bunch of veggies with dinner...any kind of veggies except potatoes, although I have always considered corn more of a starch than a vegetable, so I don't eat corn often. When I say no carbs, I should really say no starch I guess: rice, bread, potatoes, pasta. I personally find that pasta is a real diet-killer. I instantly gain weight when I eat pasta. The wraps are a bunch of bandages like you use to wrap an injury, and they soak them in some kind of detoxifying liquid clay. It is ideal to have one done about 1 week before your trip, but apparently people report continued slimming for 14 days after a wrap. What I especially liked about it last time was that it helped prevent the bloating that you get with boozing and eating salty food at resorts that makes it hard to suck your belly flat by about 5 days into your holiday. I'm sure you can find a place in Calgary that does them. Be careful, though. Some spas advertise "slimming" or "contour" wraps, but they are just putting a cream on you and wrapping you in a foil blanket. Look for the brand name "Universal Contour Wrap" or "Slendertone Wrap". Oh, I should say that often the spas that offer wraps are booked weeks in advance, so if you think it is something you want to do, you should look into booking now. Yay for you for quitting smoking Kim!
Well I am still having a rough day but i got in a lame workout.Backk on the diet and ready for another week of hopefully more weight loss. One month to go.
oh..ok..gotcha on the veggies. I do eat this way now .. I wasn't sure how much protein I could eat with no veggies.. lol.
Ohhh that wrap sounds wonderful, right now I know I'm on the right track, using that tracker is really somthing. sat and sunday I was a bit over in calories (couple gin and tonics) where as yesterday I was short and it said if I keep that up I'm putting myself in starvation mode.. meaning can't lose the weight... I know Kim... you told me so. So this is making a bit more sense. Had a great work out this am. Going to start hunting down a place for the wrap. this is awsome ladies thanks for all the information.. we can only do what we can, and we are doing somthing.. Yahoo PS Karen love the part where you said heavier people could lose 10 inches.. alright look out this chick is getting a wrap...LOL
One heck of a workout tonight. He made us get out and run 1.5 miles tonight prior to muscle confusion. I am not nor ever have been a runner, but he pushed me to finish it under 13 minutes. Mission accomplished! Next time he said I will be pushed to 11 minutes. Tonights workout based on my height and weight was 1500 calories burnt. Oh am I sore arleady! Time to hit the hot tub and relax for a bit. No pain no gain, and not wanting a cigarette cuz my lungs are liking the oxygen!
K I am sucking this week, well got the rest of the week to get it right. Lol Damm the trip is coming up fast and I need to get this crap off.
