Welcome Carol, you've come to the right place especially for support and motivation. This thread is what got me going. We've all had our ups and downs, but this is a great thread to bitch or brag. Lots of support for either. And alot of really good advice.

Everyone has very good intentions and it is very much appreciated. And you know thats whats great about this, lots of support, no pressure, post when you want or not, and lots of advice and great stories. Its alot different reading posts, rather than someone in your face. I like it here because there is no pressure, the only pressure is what we put on ourselves. Its a great thread and very glad to be part of it.

Good week for me...I now have 9 lbs left to lose to get to my goal weight!! 14.2 lbs gone in 9 weeks. Total weight loss since Jan 2010, 55.6 lbs !! Two trips to TTR per year really keeps me motivated.

Well, I'll try to make it short cause this is the second time around losing...I Joined Weight Watchers in 2005 and lost 64 lbs in about 9 months...I was so strick with regular exercise and no alcohol !! With my new body weighing in at 123 lbs, my self esteem and social life went through the roof, I was having a blast !! Went totally off track drank every weekend which leads to late night eating and munching all the time and and no exercise which gradually led me to gaining back 66 lbs. Then...October 2009 my cousin suggested that I come to TTR with her and a friend. I went and had a fabulous time, but knew that I would have a much better time with some weight gone. So back to Weight Watchers I went. It has been a bit slower coming off this time around, but I have been balancing life and weightloss to make sure I don't get back in the same boat of gaining it all back !!! In January of this year I left Weight Watchers for Empowering YOU. Bascially it's a clean, green meal plan. I weight in twice a week and a nutritionalist reviews my food diary and tweeks it to ensure proper nutrition and weightloss. As for exercise, I don't overdo it cause I need to keep a routine that is practical. So far so good, but I'm dying for a pigout on food and "purple shit"...only 33 days until TTR and having a week off my meal plan and exercise.
