It looks like they have updated their website. They are now showing this for Friday instead of the old White party. Thanks for the heads up! But really??? now that we all have gotten our sexy white dresses... now just to wear a sheet? More revealing and all but what do people feel would be more fun and sexy? we will go with either, just don't want to be the only one going one way while others are going the other.
From what I hear and based on our experience, these ideas for new theme nights (put on by the Resort) are very slow to catch on and some are so poorly conceived that they get dropped relatively quickly. We are going to TTR in less than two weeks and are pretty sure we will stick to our original plan on that night.
We were there end of Feb...the entertainment was roman/greek inspired and so was the decor/theme for the buffet. I think maybe 1 or 2 couples in sheets, but the majority was in sexy clothes...
Just looked at the web site and they have Sunday listed as anything goes. Wonder if it the same as the olden days. Would love to see them return to some of the wilder activities.:blueshock::ass::blueshock::ass::blueshock::ass:
My only advice is don't use the sheet in your room because if you lose it or wreck it you'll be charged up the wazoo for it! D
At first I thought that Kelly's white, form fitting, Victoria's Secret dress (with Sexy Shoes) would trump any standard sheet toga (and it does). But after a little online research, there are options out there that would make this Roman theme more than just a bed sheet party. TTR should provide links to these kinds of sites when describing their theme nights or provide these options in their gift shop. With reoccurring theme nights every week, having online links for people to plan in advance or have reasonably priced options in the gift shop like these would certainly go along way in making these theme nights catch on. Oh -- glad you posted this -- overlooking a few historical inaccuracies there in that description (LOL), we are planning to stick to our original plan -- just wearing a toga seems okay but not too creative (unless you can find a super sexy one! some on that site you posted look pretty hot!) -- we will take every party theme and queer it up a little bit. so toga or "white party" we plan on pushing that definition a little to get some laughs
