I understand the scale thing however I've been working really really hard an hour 5 days a week.. now come on I haven't worked out like this in years...ok many years why isn't the scale moving.. yes I'm watching what I eat.. and no my clothes are not feeling any better I haven't noticed anything, Jeff said my tummy and butt are looking better but he's my husband.. I don't understand. Going to start trying to skip supper.. Dam this is aggravating, however I'm still enjoying the work outs..even enjoying the pain...
hi deb, i know the feeling alot! but, you are healthier, plus stronger, more energy right? now look at what you are eating, anything out of a box.. rice, most cereals, noodles, anything that makes a quick fix meal, or side meal is a no no. anything premade and packaged. to get over the hump with wieght is too just eat fresh food i know i know sometimes we dont really have time but all of the prossesed stuff these days is what is making us all over wieght.
My diet, or what I'm eating morning 1 boiled egg and a orange large bottle of water during and after work out lunch piece of chicken and a couple veggies snack either banana or boiled egg dinner, piece of chicken and lots of veggies. last night was beef and califlower. I drink hot water through out the day and sometimes green tea evening 1.5 glass of red wine. No rice, potatoes, and "if" I have a sandwich for lunch high fibre bread. with tuna and lettuce. Now come on... where am I going wrong. Yes I've cheated on the weekends but nothing to bad, but shit a person has to enjoy life.
hmm.. well with out knowing what you are eating and drinking.. its hard to say whats going on Deb.. could be you are not eating enough.. could be you are having to many calories in things you drink?..haha! not just talking about booze..I convinced my daughter (April) to join Weightwatchers on line.. she is week 2 and has lost 10 lbs.. now.. she had a bit to loose but what is good about it the tracking of what you eat .. it only gives you a certain amout of points to use every day.. and if its not enough food for you, you can earn activity points and use extra ones. its your food, your choice in what to eat and is somthing that can be kept up in the long term.. you cant go skipping dinner forever.. just try it .. have I ever steered you wrong.. ahaha!@ the tracking of what you eat alone is a lesson.. once you get that you can cancel hte membership at anytime.. but do it for at least your trip..
ha!! i was typing same time as you.. well.. so looking at that... I would say you are not eating enough here is what I eat.. Morning.. if its a weight training day.. protine shake..have a bit before i work out but rest after Im done.. then at 10am or so I have scrambled egg. one whole egg 3 eggwhites.. lunch is a cup of soup.. campbells, tomato or cream of muchroom.. the single servings 110 calories, a ham sandwich (2 slices) on weightwatchers bread with a slice of fat free cheese toasted.. snack is yogurt or apple dinner is small potatoe with butter 3 to 4 oz of chicken, beef or fish (lean) one cup of cooked veggies and a BIG salad.. with Dressing if i am still hungry after that and have a couple points left I will have a piece of toast or protine ... but I try not to eat past 7pm..
oh here is another thing Deb... this could all be about when you weigh.. if I eat late in the evening.. and have say..whole wheat past.. my morning weight could be up or stay the same.. if you weigh every day.. like i USED TO.. lol If I were you I would try to weigh in before your dinner at night.. and track that weight..
