any other women insecure about their stretch marks at TTR?

Kellie loves her tiny frame, but like most women after having kids does show the badges of honor. We know this is a comfort thing for most women that come to accept it but how many women use the suit cover ups when not in the pool or sun bathing to hide them?

 

We met so many people who on the first day or three had the same concern's how ever there are two magical cancun cures for this ailment firstly alcohol....copious amounts reccomended, secondly you realize the resort motto actually becomes believeable, "Nobody knows you nobody gives a sh1t" No matter what you tell your lovely better half it is her comfort level that matters and it really won't take long for her to realize that half of the bodacious ladies there have the same badges of honour and they embrace the body they have relax have fun and party hard.

Just give her the chance to find her comfort zone, you will be amazed how fast it happens.

 

At TTR there are so many different people with so many different body types. Everyone is accepted and nobody cares. You will feel comfortable from the moment you get there.

 

I have the same fears, so it's really great to hear these responses.

 

Everyone has some concern about their body...but, for some reason at TTR you seem to feel quite comfortable about everything. Everyone is so nice and non-judgmental it is very refreshing.

It is very nice to hear from everyone the feeling of loss of inhibitions no matter to what extreme we all feel we have about our insecurities!

 

I used to be very self concsious about my body, i've had kids and my body shape has changed and gravity has taken its toll. However, i very much earned my inperfections...and being open and bare in public doesnt bother me now. But it took me a long time to get there. Be supportive, dont push, she will do it when she is comfortable. I very much agree with the other posters with adhering to the TTR motto. I'm not big on walking around topless or having the girls exposed when i go refill my sippy cup at the bar (and unless i can find a handsome young happy meal to do it for me...i'll be slippin on the coverup to do it myself) Your lovely wife may have to take it slow at first...but when she sees that she is more the minority that the majority...and that nobody is paying attention...(its not like every one is going to give the ladies standing ovations every time one of us takes off her top...at least i hope not...)...she will be fine!!

I remember the first time i visited friends at a nudist resort....i wasnt sure if i could walk around nude either....we drove past the gate, i felt more out of place dressed!! (and the first thing i saw was a VERY NUDE Taylor Lautner look-alike taking out the garbage....fek, my clothes were gone in seconds..)

Give her time, patience and encouragement, but let her decide when she is ready And when she does, appreciate her!! She needs to hear it from u more than anyone else!!!

 

We aren't going until November 24, but loving reading this forum....very informative and reassuring for us first timers! The more I/we are reading the more excited we are getting about our trip. I'm sure with a few drinks, my girls will want to be exposed, stretch marks or not. If you don't like it, don't look! lol:flash:

 

heehee...its sorta funny....went to a "normal" resort in January in Jamaica...i had a hard time remembering i couldnt take my top OFF....good thing my hubby was there to stop me!! ...once the girls have seen the sun, its hard to keep them covered up!!

the other thing thats neat is when you get back home and your friends want to see your tan lines....and YOU DONT HAVE ANY!!!...awesome conversation starter around the water cooler!! :icon_wink:

 

Hey! Guys can have stretch marks too...just usually not from childbirth.
