We booked through Noltitours, just curious on some tips to make sure that we avoid certain airport issues.

Once you get through customs, immediately go outside to where the transportation is. The timeshare people are like vultures at the airport trying to talk you into tours of various resorts & timeshares. Don't waste your time, just remember how to say not interested, no gracias or just plain NO and get out of there.

Our package is through Nolitours as well and instead of using the included transfer we purchase a private transfer with USA Transfers using the link at the bottom of this page. I then let nolitours know that we don't require the included transfer so that they don't wait for us.

TTR is usually the last for the drop offs and first for the pick ups so by using the private transfer it's a straight shot to the resort. No wasting time.

:whisper: Also be very careful not to let your wife hand her carry on or suitcase to anyone......( from experience) People will come up to her and lie and say yes to anything she or you asks.... Like are you from our transportation company ( so and so ) and they will say yes let me carry your bag for you.......... Don't do it ! It's all about them getting money from you.......:bandit: You just have to look like you know what your doing and sound serious when you say no thanks.........:brick:

normally $50ish there, $30ish coming back, plus tip. The airport charges the cabs to be in airport. Thats why its more going to resort. I did the van thing once. to many stops to much time being missed by the pool.

Well thanks for that fast response...... Our reserved ride last year was a company I think called epic..... best ride we have ever had.... driver was standing in a visible spot holding up a sign with our name on it.....put us in a nice vehicle and was very professional and answered questions... both coming and going was perfect......if there is such a thing..... and was about 30 dollars cheaper than you round trip...... to each their own...... whatever works.........no worries......:icon_neutral:

We found it to be a good opportunity to pre meet some people that were also staying at the resort and we ended up hanging out with them all weekend. Don't really care if it takes a while longer missed the booze cruise that day so will have to wait for most the partygoers to return.
