Last year at the resort we stayed at, Dreams, they had a photographer that could take photos for you at the resort - I think it was mostly intended for weddings but they did other guests also. They were expensive so we opted to use a local photographer at Playa Delphines. Anyone know if TTR has a professional photographer that does the same for guests and how much photos cost by chance? We will be at TTR July 27th - August 10th.
There is a very nice fellow who is a contractor to the resort and is there some days of the week and will wander around seeing if guests want to set up a photo shoot. I know mrmrsdiesel (Bill & Mindi) did a photo shoot while I was there in December...I assume it was with him, but I don't know. PM them and ask them how it went and what it cost, if no one here on the boards can help you. They're a really nice couple.
I'm probably what you'd call an "advanced amateur" photographer. If anyone wanted to do photos at TTR while we're there, I could bring the Good Camera. No charge, I just do it for fun. Send a message if you want, and I'll be sure to pack it. If you have a thumb drive or a laptop, we can just transfer them while down there. I'm only bringing my netbook, so won't be able to burn a disc.
We have a friend who does boudoir photography in Vegas. I bet she could clean up if she came down to TTR "on vacation" of course...
I am there the same time as you and would be interested in this, I take horrible pics so it would be nice to have some nice shots of me on vacay
Last Feb. the resort had a desk near in the lobby and there was a photographer on staff that would do photo shoots all around the resort by appt.
So...which one is the photographer...I can remember being poolside trying to find different flights out on your laptop...heehe....cracked us up. Chris was a great photographer when we were all together last...heehee!!
I (Scott) am the photographer. Trina is far better as the subject! Having a laptop was useful, even if we couldn't keep them around for a few more days. I'm also bringing the underwater camera this year, might have some fun with that one.
There's definitely a photographer onsite; we had friends who did the professional shoot just last week while at TTR. The pictures turned out great! There was no sitting fee, and I can't remember what they paid for the shots but they thought the guy was very reasonable. His booth is right in the lobby, across from the jewelry store.
