We like to think we might hit the gym at least once during our stay...is it well equipped? Is the equipment is good repair? Or Will we have to be content with 24-oz curls?
I remember seeing a treadmill and don't remember much else - it is small but people do use it. The treadmill looked like it worked just fine and the room is air conditioned!
Actually, the gym is quite respectable. As I recall, there are 3 treadmills and 3 bikes, but I may be off by 1 or so. Not deluxe machines, but not old and wretched either. I did not use the various weights there, but there seems to be a decent assortment. My buddies Craig and Rene will be able to tell you what is there. The gym is cool and clean, and there are towels and water there. It's nice and quiet at 8 or 9 in the morning (I went there the mornings after my "recovery" nights).
It's very well equipped. Of the many resorts we have been to, it's one of the nicest. You have a wonderful view as well.
The gym is pretty decent, good for a resort gym anyhow. As Karen said, the cardio is pretty good. I know my wife was on the bike every morning, most of the time still drunk. The weights consist mostly of a smith machine. I want to say the dumbbells go up to either 40 or 45s. There are a few benches, and a couple other machines. One of them is a bench/shoulder press machine.
"Most of the time still drunk." Classic. Can't wait to be drunk working out myself... As long as things are working, we're happy.
bring your running shoes and run on the beach or side walk ..the gym sucks there lol need weight to run with take ur suitcase..
But really, you two, you only have 5 days at the resort...can't you just let the workouts slide? Just work out like crazy before you down to TTR to buff yourselves up and then sit back and marvel at how fast all your hard work is ruined by 5 days of engaging in every excess known to man. :biggrinbandit:
