ok so we have read in a couple of different threads that there is some kind of a toy exchange night? if so can anyone verify this wonderful rumor since we, literally, do have a roll around tool box full of the lil creations! If so when and where? we may just pack a carry-on of just toys. Imagine the TSA officers faces when it gets scanned?! :aktion051:
The toy exchange is something that is set up between the people here on CCC that will all be there at the same time.
not sure entirely. I thought it was put on by the resort as part of a "toy night theme" at the party pool or something. But as twoxtrouble4u stated it is just organized between people visiting from CCC. The gist of it, from what we have gathered, is during on of the parties later at night people bring their toys that they wanto to try and exchange with others and it is like a mexican bargain lot for toys but just trade for one you have along with a cocktail and a story, getting to know people and try something fun and new. If someone knows better please DO TELL!!!
Our group organized one for our trip in June, and it was a fun icebreaker. We put a $20 cap on the toys (while having a box to bring is nice, I don't think used toys would go over very well!):aktion025: We all met up at Paty'Os and made it white elephant style--wrapped them, put them in the middle and let everybody choose a bag.
We also did one, but did it as a Chinese Gift exchange which spiced things up. We had a 30$ recommendation. Used toys would not be good. Doing it after Casino /Lingerie night is also a good time BYOB Bring your own batteries
yeah the used toys idea... no bueno! :lighting1: we have a neighbor that peddles the lil jems. we moved in a cpl years ago and she came over with new ones that she used as show demos new in box but were discontinued or slow sellers. Consequently she gave us what she had which was 2 grocery bags full of goodies equaling round $2000 worth of toys. Plus we get a steal of a deal through her on new ones we wanna give a try. Setting up an exchange would be so much fun!
