Whats the story behind your username?

Thanks! Who doesn't like a round of applause directed at them....Well, at least if it's not because you did something embarrassing like drop a tray full of dishes or fall on your ass in front of a large group of people.

 

I did both of those while waiting tables to get thru law school! I think that was the last time anyone clapped for me, come to think of it. We lawyers are usually dodging tomatoes, beer bottles, and stinging insults instead of basking in the glow of a nice appreciative round of applause ha ha.

 

Years ago I was the guy at our office that was always organizing ski trips, the ball team, group BBQ's etc. One of my buddies said to me one day, you know we call you The Captain, don't you? Nope, I didn't but the name stuck and since the name Captain had been taken on here when I signed up I added the Blue Eyes as my eyes are well um......blue. Lol. :blueshock:

Mine is actually my eBay Seller name (I own/run a designer clothing resell and consignment online store) and it is the name I use on a unrelated (designer clothing) forum that I help Moderate. So I figured I would keep them all the same.

My Husband started jokingly calling me 'Fancy Pants' after I bought my first pair of designer jeans, which has turned into an obsession to say the least. It is his way of reminding me that I am spoiled.

since I'm Mexican, in Mexico you have two last names: your dad's last name plus your mom's maiden name. Therefore, my full name is Carlos Juarez Morales. obviously the JM are the initials of both my last names.
