We all respect your choices and noone there will push for you to do anything that you don't want to do. On our first trip I didn't want to go topless cause hell I got tiny boobs and I was self conscious about that too. We all have things we love to change about our bodies. 3 days into the trip I did go topless and well I have to say it totally changed the way I view my body. I still have tiny boobs and well I am now proud to let them out and show them off. I even had nipple piercing for a few years giving them bling. It is completely freeing. My body image has changed and well I can look at my body and see the positives. I have struggled with my weight too. Before every trip I have to take off 5-10 lbs to make up for what I will gain on this trip so I won't absolutely feel like shit when I come back. Lol afterr 14 trips it catches up with you. Before the first trip I dropped 80 lbs and since then have managed to put on and keep probably 30 more lbs than I started out with on the first trip. It's a battle I fight all year, so I totally undestand how you feel. Do what feels good to you.
Very nice post, I think you will be nicely surprised when you get to TTR there won't be any pressure. Now a few drunk guys may encourage it, but that is only because the filter comes off when we start drinking . As Ron White says "once you've seen one woman naked, you...pretty much wanna see the rest of 'em naked" For my wife the first time she went topless was in Vegas at the Mirage and I had to get her a few drinks and then walked up behind her and flipped the clip on her top and also there were very few left in the pool around that time as it was getting towards dinner time. And like others said, she would just stay under water. The next year we went to the Mirage and it too a few less drinks and me not sneaking, just saying "why don't you take your top off?" Fast forward to TTR, first time in public in a thong and the top was worn to the pool the first day and not another top even made it out of the suitcase. This year, more micro suits and we didn't even buy tops...
I am with ya there, off for the weekend and leave Monday! See you at TTR around 430 with drink in hand
Totally agree with your statement. It's no big deal either way. It's amazing how laid back it is and the motto of...Nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit couldn't be anymore perfect. You will enjoy TTR no matter what.
Now I KNOW I made the right choice booking with this group. Thank you for being honest with us. I'm sure many of us feel they same way for different reasons including myself. I am a burn survivor and struggle with my own insecurities everytime I look in the mirror. Yes my body is like a freakin' road map of scars but I'm alive today and enjoy life to the fullest. Well I try to anyway. We are our own worst critics I find too. Love the TTR motto "Nobody knows you and Nobody gives a shit" I even worked up the courage to spend an entire week nude at Hedo II because it was on my bucket list and hey why not! Trip of a lifetime actually. Never have I felt so confident and liberated Not one person noticed, commented or frankly gave a shit. Life is too short right?
Go have fun, the best thing about TTR is the people so I'm sure will love it and how at ease you will feel
Being from the SHOW ME State i say go ahead and SHOW'EM........kidding aside my wife is nervous also but she has decided that for the 7 days that we are there she is going to leave her top behind let her hair down and have a great time!:ernaehrung024:
