I am very confused with the hotel names. I read a user's comment to go the day party at "Oasis" so I just rebooked my hotel to the "Oasis Cancun" from Avalon Grand Cancun. But now I am unsure if they are referring to the "Grand Oasis".

I also just read a comment from Fletcher that he got rob 500 bucks staying at Oasis Cancun and that is not reassuring.

Can someone please clarify, which one is the hotel with the wild parties? Thanks!

They are different, but connected so either or could be right answers. The beach is the same either way, that's where the day parties will be.

Also, it's true, our room got broken into and we were robbed. If you get placed on the bottom floor, ask to be relocated, tip a bit if you have to, it just might save you. We were on the first floor and there was easy access to our room.

luckily i went with my best friend and he brought extra cash with him AND we both got paid later on during the week so we survived. Wish I found the scum who did it though, at least they left me my passport and license :icon_lol:

    Good to hear you survived.

So do you advise to put your passport and license in the "room safe" ? Or is that what was broken into?

Another problem with first floor room at Oasis is that it makes easy for people to throw a peacock into your room.

And people peeing, vomiting on your balcony from the floors above. Or just "accidently" dropping trash, empty bottles ....
