I have told my friends and family where we're going... it's not their holiday so it's not going to affect them what goes on on our holiday! Life is too short to be judgemental. Just go with the flow and take things as they come and have an open mind! It's these europe holidays to Magaluf, Ayia napa, Malia etc. that are just full of boozy brits that just want to fight and cause havoc. It will be a nice change to actually meet different groups of people. Believe it or not but I can count on one hand how many people from America I have actually met. Met no one from Canada before! Definitely need to broaden my horizons!
Well us Canadians are known to get into the sauce a little bit, but we will later apologize and be extremely polite. Just no hockey talk, then we get rowdy as a people (see Stanley Cup riots in Vancouver)
Haha love it! I love the sauce too... but I have cut down ALOT since new year but planning to go crazy on this holiday! it will be literally 1 tequila, 2 tequila, 3 tequila FLOOR!
We're thinking of telling the family that we probably won't be coming back and we'll send for the kids once we find a shack on the beach that has a decent basketball hoop. Our son can start pickup games and hopefully start the end of this silly soccer craze the rest of the world obsesses about (Kati wouldn't agree ;-) and our daughter can walk up and down the beach playing ukelele and singing for tips...just not the beach at TTR. It's all good.
Oh, I forgot to add the most annoying part: I have a group of bi***y coworkers who have been stalking people's Facebooks, then turning screenshots in to the principal. He's reprimanded teachers for having photos with wine glasses in their hands at New Year's Eve parties and for using the word "orgy" in a post. I can't even imagine what they'd do if they got access to my (very mild by TTR standards) pics!
Adult only, all inclusive in Cancun, is what we have told my friends, family and people at work and not one of them have asked me the name of the resort, just wanted to know if they could go too? lol
We tell them exactly where we are going. Never had any issue. Matter of fact, we have a lot of friends that want to go with us.
We here ya on that. Last year when we were at TTR there was a big group of guys from Scotland I think? Not being predjudice but as many will probably agree that witnessed them IT WAS REALLY BAD! :icon_twisted: Never experienced anything like that before. Hope you enjoy all the AWESOME people you will meet at TTR, guests as well as staff! :mnm:
We used to tell them Blue Bay Getaway if they don't already know. As for what we do there we usually tell them we didn't take many pictures - that they can see By now most everyone knows it's adults only just don't konw many details. We do have to dive them phone numbers and room so that they can contact us if necessary. Nothing sucks more then being out till about 5am and getting that 8:30 wake up call.
