Needed to read this! Last year was my our first year. My ex had the kids and I mistakenly told him I was going to Blue Bay. He googled, found Cancuncare and stalked me here. Then he used it to turn my kids against me. Said horrible things about me to the kids. I have three teenage kids. This year...... I told him I was going out of town, period. Our close friends know where we went and are JEALOUS. And happy for us. It is such a relief to be at TTR where I get to be the real me! A woman who loves to be irreverent, baudy, dance like a wild woman, drink tequila and flirt. It's so difficult to hold that all in the rest of the year in the uptight, conservative, judgemental of women like me town I live in. Long Live Temptations!!!! Shannon
Wow I never even thought about that. Ya I can see how an ex could try to use that info against you. What an ass! Well I am sure we will keep the info of where we are going to a minimum but it may be hard as all our wedding guests will be asking us.
Wow! That is exactly why I don't want to say anything.. my X is bit extreme with preconceived notions.. I think I will just get an add-on travel pack for my cell and a calling card... just tell whoever back home that I am at GP or the resort next door - chances are they would always call my cell first.
Our friends know where we go but to co workers/family I tell them its a sister resort of Blue Bay! The sexier one :69:
Just tell them you are simply going to Cancun. If they continue to pry, ask them why they need to know everything...since it is your honeymoon, you want to keep it all private, it's just a little place on the beach, etc. Tell them you'll share pics afterwards and then share pics of you at dinner or on the beach with the ocean in the background...all G-rated stuff. Make it seem really boring and they won't care.
Just tell them you are going to a bible retreat called Temptation. The daily program consists of 6 hours of bible study followed by 6 hours of walking the streets of Cancun trying to bring god to the heathens! Personally I just tell my dad and his wife where I am going and they just make me promise not to make any kids while I am down there lol!
I tell my friends and co-workers where I am going. Our kids know we are going to an adults only resort, that's why they can't go:cry::cry: My wife on the otherhand is a "somebody" in Education and she prefers to tell her co-workers we are staying at the Wyndahm Resort, as we own a timeshare through them. It all works out. That is also why she prefers that we don't have pics up, although we do appear in some other members Boobs Cruise pics:flash:, that is all good Paul & Lisa
