Set of RULES while at TTR for yourself/ partner?

Well... rules are meant to be broken... ;-)

 

I cannot be held responsible for following the rules while drunk on Sambuca. Lol
But I have to say I am vitually useless on Sambuca as well. Worst thing that might happen is I get secretly naked in the pool, kiss some people, hug some people, and then pass out.

 

Here is a rule: Be respectful of your relationship. We get a bit crazy down there and whatever happens it is important that neither of us get so caught up in the drunken moment that the other is pissed. It ain't a hard rule to follow.

What I said could apply to anything, wasn't necessarily referring to swinging. It is really hard for some people to know how they will react in that kind of environment if they have never been somewhere like TTR before, or if they have never seen their significant other playfully flirt. You can say you are fine with it in theory, but you never know until you actually experience it. So, communication is key - and make sure whatever you do is always respecting your partner's feelings, even if you don't agree with them. Somebody else said it, but remember this person is who you are going home with, and the bullshit will follow you home if you don't deal with unresolved feelings or give reassurances as they are needed.

Honestly, talking a lot about ground rules and boundaries can be just the way to really prevent weirdness proactively. Also, what could happen as well is you might be flirting with someone and having a good time, but your partner may see that their partner is not happy about it and you don't realize - so that would also be a reason to have a "code phrase" to calmly remove you both from the situation to talk.

I don't want to say what ours is or you guys may say "busted!!" if you meet up with us in Paty O's - lol!!

 

If one of us yells, "Fuck this shit...we're out!" it doesn't mean anything...just sayin'.

We have been in the lifestyle for 10 years. We have good communication and 3 simple rules.

1. Have Fun
2. Have some more Fun
3. Don't sleep much because we are having too much fun

Knowing this ahead of time prepares us to be sleep deprived and alcohol infused without any problems.

Lol I can't tell you the number of people I met here for the first time as I was strutting around secretly naked in the pool. Lol Last year was a blast and this year will be alot of the same. The pool gets wild after 4:00 pm .. and the shots get going.
