That is so awesome, I've gotten it a few times. Can't wait to be sipping one again in 55 days! I also have taken several videos of them preparing this. One of the many highlights of our trip. Not to mention how great it tastes Paul & Lisa
So...is the coffee good or really good? Do the rooms have coffee makers in them if we elect to bring our own grind? We wondered if being closer to Juan Valdez makes any difference in TTR's coffee. ;-p
Actually, we found that in all our trips to Cancun TTR is the first place that we've liked the coffee. Usually it is so strong you could walk on it. Last year we went and there was a coffee maker in out room but we never used it cause we rather enjoyed getting the bartender at the buffet to top it up with some Baileys and go sit by the beach!
you will get a couple pouches of coffee one regular one decaf. You could bring your own grinds and small filter since the coffee maker is very small. I did that this year and used the smallest size round filter I could find not sure the size. You could always bring scissors and cut to size also or just put it in and then fold whatever is too large over the grinds Rob
also if you want some Baileys or Kahlua for the coffee like I do just ask the bartender to give you a half cup full or whatever you want and put it in the fridge for your morning coffee. In Jan I asked the bartender just before I heading back to the room for the night for a cup of it and he had no problem with it. Just sometimes you might forget to ask when calling it a night so best to do it sometime before you start partying for the night
one more important thing also for coffee in your room is when you go to breakfeast grab some extra sugar and cream from buffet and put it in the fridge for the next day. They only have a couple packets of each in the room
