Cheers... Personally delighted with the line up so far. Much better than I expected, especially excited for Chuckie. Did not think the line up would have been big electro/house DJ's, was expecting more rap/rnb with it being a mainly American audience. Unless I'm completely ignorant and house music is actually really big in the US now? Maybe somebody from across the pond can answer that, just how big is house music in the US now? I and most people I know would be a lot more excited to see say Laidback Luke than Wiz Khalifa or even Lil Wayne, but I thought this was a 'British' thing because House music is so huge over here.
indeed that depend for who... too much house/electro djs/artist to my mind... the hip hop artist lineup in 09 was huge! with Florida, Akon, Tpain, Lil Jon, Re cafe, Snoop Dogg etc.. anyway Cancun is Cancun and n with some good liquors errkind of music is great ahahahhaha Terasta bar is a good spot to go for the rnb/hip hop/dancehall lover like me.
I am a DJ and I have never heard of YMCMB, who the hell are they? I have heard of the YMCA, but that is about it. Avicii in in Cancun will absolutely amazing, I am so jealous I am not making it down there for that.

ATCO, do you consider dubstep house? If so actually yes house style music in the US has blown up as of late. Rap music and rock music in the US are bringing more of a house style to their beats than ever before. Its more artist like Skrillix, Bassnectar, Deadmou5 and NERO that are doing the most with that style over here, I also personally like Aarabmuzik's take the style.
I've never heard of that acronym either. I remember when Lil Wayne was literally LIL Wayne....16 years old or so, with Juvenile, BG, etc....oh back when hip hop was hip hop hahah
House Music is huge in the states now. Has grown exponentially in the past couple years. They have festivals dedicated for this (Winter Music Conference/Miami Music Week, Electric Daisy Carnival, Electric Zoo NY, ..., etc.). I know Miami, NYC, LA, Chi, and LV are now huge with house music. Swedish House Mafia sold out Madison Square Garden within 10 minutes of tickets going online.
