I've been trying my best to search pre-existing threads, but I gave up and decided to start this one...lol.

From the Hotel Zone to the night clubs (The City, Senor Frogs, etc), taking the bus is cheaper. But how expensive, or lack thereof, are taxis? A rough estimate would be great.

Thanks for helping me out with these questions, folks!

Not exactly sure from the GR Solaris...... But from Oasis to the clubs or the clubs back they will ask you between $10-15 .....talk them down to $8-10 , so figure you are a mile or so further away they will probably shoot for $15-20 so talk them down to $10-15....... If you get really wasted one night and decide to walk back .....it will take you like 2 hrs and remember DO NOT PISS in the bushes cause you will end up in jail.....lol the tourist policia over there are like ninjas those bastards pop out of no where.....if you do get the pleasure of wearing the policia's silver braclets just remember they will take bribes usually $100-200 and you don't go to jail.....LMAO

If you take a cab, negotiate a price (ask how much, talk it down, etc), don't use meters. Remember, EVERYTHING is negotiable in Mexico.

PS. Kudos for search before posting. :)

lol. I will be sure to keep this in mind also. Are taxis running 24/7 or do they stop at a certain time of night?
