Only alpharooms makes a distinction between ''Deluxe'' and ''Standard'' garden view rooms. Neither one is oceanview so I am still not too sure what is the difference. Most travel sites only distinguish between garden view, ocean view, and jacuzzi rooms so I have no idea what alpharooms means by deluxe and standard. The only thing I can guess is that the Standard rooms are in the least desirable part of the hotel, whereas the Deluxe rooms are a bit better. When booking alpharooms, most people just go with the cheapest option.

If your using alpharooms then select the cheapest one and when you get there and they give you a room and you dont like it ask to be moved.....just don't expect a jacuzzi room. I try to get the rooms in the 1000 area which I ask for when I check in and ask for a ground floor if possible which are only a few that dont have jacuzzi in it but if they are vacant they will give to you. The 2000 can be a bit noisy at night since near Patyos but if you plan on staying up all night at least past 3 am those are in the middle of everything. Just remember you really arent going to spend much time in the room since you will meet so many great people and you will use it to sleep, shower and change.

how noisy is it the 2000s we want a balance of being close to the action where fun might find us and being able to sleep when we want too. Jen&Kevin

It had deluxe and standard on cheaptickets.com...I called and spoke with a person and he said the difference was that the standard DIDN'T have the room fridge...but I thought that was in everyroom regardless...

I would try the hotel email or tollfree # to get more answers

I'm pretty sure that all the rooms have a mini fridge - has anyone else seen or heard of a room without a fridge???

I would book the cheap room and then if you don't like it talk with the front desk and upgrade. We have gotten the cheapest room the two times we were there and really enjoyed the room.

I greatly appreciate your keen insight and reasoned explanation. Do you happen to shill for a fly-by-night website that would take my money for a room?
