Our best deals on air this year were different. We have always used travelocity in the past 4 years. I'm a tightwad when it comes to vacationing. Research long and hard with about every different company that anyone suggests on here before booking. The more I can save, the more days we can stay at TTR. I've never had anyone beat travelocity, no matter what someone suggested might be better on here. When someone on cancuncare suggests where they found the best deal, I compare it to travelocity, just to make sure, and travelocity has always won. This year when I seen all the recommendations on alpharooms, I decided to price shop booking the airfare and rooms seperately! I could stay 2-3 days longer by booking them seperate. But to do so, and find a sitter that long, we have to have my parents watch the kids and they live in Florida. So we are driving down a couple days ahead, and flying out with direct flights out of Orlando with JetBlue. What we save on the airfare for flying out of Orlando instead of Columbus or Cleveland, will pay for the gas for the trip to Florida there and back. I found the best airfare on Travelocity again, and JetBlue's price on airfare was the exact same as Travelocity. Most of the time, Travelocity's price for airfare is a little cheaper then going directly to airlines sites. So from one Ohio travelor to another, I encourage you to compare prices using Travelocity, as for this region, they've always had the best prices hands down for booking TTR. Hope that helps some. I say we get a Boobs Cruise scheduled for June 13th. How does that date sound with others? We have a lot in the group it seems that will be there the 7-16th, and then another bunch the 10-21st. Try to hit both groups so the most from this June group can go together. Thoughts?
