Cautionary tale: I flipped my wristband inside-out to the white side and wrote two X's on it, because... XX = Dos Equis. I figured I could just wave it at the bartender to order a beer, so that I could save my voice for far more important things (like cheering for the Miss Temptation finalists). It worked great until the group next to us said they thought two X's means you're bisexual. From then on, I decided just to order my beers verbally.
