The recent reviews have been less than favorable . Do you all think this is from mostly non Cancucare members ? I know Im guilty of using tripadvisor before making travel arrangements and these type reviews are not at all flattering. It also has pushed TTR from 32 to 34th on the best hotel list in Cancun. Maybe we should set the record straight and let these readers know the real temptations? ?
This is the second to latest review "this was such a rip off, most expensive resort very boring, fake drinks, dont go here u will regret it" These kind of reviews kill me :aktion061:They offer no real insight as to why it was such a bad hotel. Most expensive? This is probably the cheapest adults only all-inclusive hotel in cancun. Very boring? They must have been on the beach or quiet pool the entire time. Fake drinks? How is a drink fake? I think tripadvisor needs a way to throw out bogus reviews like this. It's likely its posted from another resort trying to drive away business.
I seen one complain that the water was to cold and another complaining about the aggressive timeshare salesman at the airport.
I don't know, let'em complain and never go again. We don't want people like this there anyway.:xyxthumbs:
My thoughts exactly!! The way I see we've found our own exclusive all-inclusive adult only frat party environment resort. The less the "nay sayers" the better off we all are! Let's party on dudes and dudettes!!
Those reviews though can really F with your head when deciding to go to a place for the first time. Big expense with no easy return policy! So normal to have that apprehension lurking unitl ya go.
Yep...they can and do. So much in fact that we didn't rush willy-nilly into a TTR decision this year; we found ourselves second-guessing the decision and we felt forced to consider other destination options. In the end, we flipped a coin to let the fates decide between topless pools in Vegas or TTR. lol
We do allot of travelling, 15-20+ trips a year. I used to research all the resorts/hotels on travel sites and finally came to the conclusion some people are just fucking nuts. -Ingram
