Mattresses are WAY better this year! Very comfortable and we had no problems sleeping.

Are the rooms with 2 beds queens or doubles?...I like having the extra bed to throw stuff on but if they are only doubles I'm going to try to change my reservation to a king.

Truth be told, don't get too excited about location. The resort is small enough that you can walk from one end to the other (sober) in 5 minutes, in my experience this equates to about 30 minutes drunk lol!

We like to stay on the 3rd floor of Building 1, overlooking the ocean and quiet pool. Here is the view from one of the balconies:

get a king room. Most rooms we have seen have a larger counter with TV and lamp but they can fit a full sized open suitcase no problem, plus other stuff.

We were in room 5531, it had a king size pillowtop bed, dresser in closet, some drawers in entertainment/tv table, that holds a fullsize suitcase on top if needed,no safe, bathroom door with a privacy curtain over the window that looks right into bathroom. Dual shower heads in standup shower/no tub. A bar fridge with bottled water, coke and beer. Looked out onto courtyard.

We were also in 5221 same floorplan as 5531, it had a safe though, no privacy curtain over window looking into bathroom, no bathroom door, but, door on shower has dual purpose & can be pulled towards the toilet if you want to keep some things private. Looks out onto walkway and cigar lounge.
Both rooms are in close proximity to the sexy pool and quiet.

Last year we had room #5533 third floor right over the sand volley ball area. The view of the ocean and island was nice. fast walk to the sexy pool.

Yes they do have rooms with 2 double beds. You just have to specify thats what you want. I always use the other bed to throw all my crap on too.lol

We prefer the king bed...if we don't upgrade to a jacuzzi suite we'll be requesting something in the 5100 or 5200 buildings.
