How much money should I bring if I dont plan on heavy drinking or have all inclusive? I figured I'd catch a bus and eat downtown instead of hotel area to save. A friend of mine just got back from D.R and said for $2 tip he was treated like a king by waiters lol. I plan on going for a week in early much so prices im sure will be higher than normal but will $500 usd to care of food/nightlife/site seeing? How much should I expect to pay for club entry/maybe scuba diving and spending a day at isla ? Also im a big fan of seafood so 1) how's the quality 2) how's the prices
FYI we brought 5000 pesos, used alot of it (small demoninations 50 - 100 peso bills etc) and about 300 - 500 us cash, we came home with about 150 in singles though.
Depends.. How many nights do you plan on going out? It should be enough... If you go out 3 nights, thats about 150 right there.. but then also, those are 3 nights your not at the hotel, so you won't be getting plastered there, so you won't be tipping as much... $500 seems fine to me
w.e ur friend told you his messing with ur head theres no way your gonna get treated like a king in DR giving out $2 tip trust me.... $2 tip u probably get kill in DR for being so cheap... [
