I think that if I were at the pool and wanting a chair and one was not available I would find people in the pool in front of their chairs, get a round of drinks and ASK to share. But call me crazy...
Very bad example, because no one goes to PatyO's and puts their coat on a chair at 3 pm to reserve it for the night, and then not show up to use it...lol I am Playing Devil's Advocate - I am really more like Switzerland, I am neutral. Last year I let a lot of people use my chairs throughout the day. A friend reserved them for us, but they weren't really mine. I just used them to keep my sunblock and tshirt under, so I could remember where I left them. This picture kind of proves that the plan never worked:
Really? Well said, Troy. I, too, was thinking that I love to lay in my saved chair whenever I feel like it. I use it on and off all day. I may go to the bar for a body shot or two but I expect my chair to be available when I want it. Obviously, Curlz is in the minority but she can still have her opinion. If you are sitting in my chair when I want it, then I expect you to move. If I do not want to share, does that mean you are not moving? Then we might have a problem. I or someone in my party got their a$$es up early to save those seats. If you want one, get up and reserve one. I think blaming Germans is also ludicrous.
Hey crazy.. go get me a drink and i'll let you sit on the end of my newly aquired lounge chair. It's really comfortable
