Can definitely see the frustration. I would have probably done something similar...though as a big guy, I'm normally intimidating enough. :banghead: I've never had it happen in 3 trips, and I normally do try to get a chair early. Hopefully this is an isolated incident, but there are always a few bad apples and then hundreds of wonderfully ripe awesome ones!!:xyxthumbs:
I get up early, even on vaca, so my job every morning is to reserve chairs for us. (And our friends if we are traveling with friends. We have met some great people by condensing our stuff to one chair and inviting another couple that is looking for a chair to share the vacated one next to us. Where I come from, we call it Texas friendly. I usually spend most of my time in the pool anyway and just use the chair as a point of reference and a place to keep my cigs from getting wet. A little friendly goes a lot further than a lot of angry.
you're either in the chair or you're not. If you're not I'm sitting there regardless of of a towel or abandoned sunscreen. If you're cute I might share.
Being abandoned is one thing, people do have to go to the restroom occaisionally. I would hope someone would at least watch it for awhile before just taking it?
If you are in the restaurant and get up for seconds does the same apply? I only mention it to point out how dumb what you typed is.
Chris, will ya'll watch my chair while I get us a drink? Of course, after listening to me talk for a couple hours, you might be looking for someone to give it to!!
if your biggest problem on vacation is that someone is sitting in a chair that is for use for ALL guests then i'd say that's a pretty good vacation. I also said i would share and I'm pretty sure no one would say no to that Check your priorities... a chair isn't worth getting upset over...and definately not worth calling me dumb over! Keep hiding behind your screen crazy person.....
