Hi all. Does anyone know where the closest Bank or ATM is to Temptation Resort? We have read in several places not to leave any great amount of money in our safe.
Been there many times, aside from a few incidences which probably arose from a drunk member leaving the safe open by accident in the first place or leaving there wallet out, a few cameras disappearing from poolside when you go for lunch, which I would not blame staff for,,, you are pretty safe if you take care of your stuff. You can use your credit cars to book most excursions and hotel extras, About 200$ in small bill should cover you for tips for the week, and an extra 200$ for gifts, ect,,, You can also bring travelers checks. Use common sense and everything should be fine :xyxthumbs:
Closest ATM is outside the frontdoor, to the left in the building in the parking lot that has the OXXO (the local 7-11). Jamie
We personally will never use an ATM machine down there after having our card skimmed, and -$1100.00 dollars later, last April. We were home from there for 2 months before they withdrew the money. Our bank tracked it to Mexico. All cash for us next time!
There is an ATM in the gift shop that dispenses US currency only. Most other ATMs will dispense Pesos so remember that while typing in the amount to get. IE. to get $200 US you need to withdraw 2,400 in pesos. Also be sure to get a printed receipt of your balance for a keep sake. It's great to see your account with so many zeros behind it. lol
