In Cancun very few places advertise a 24/7 Temptastic Pool on their home page. Allllllrighty then. On to Plan B. Is there a hot tub anywhere on the premises?
Well that bites. We have been in March before and the pool temp was fine... but January will be a different story. One positive, however... even harder nipples on Rhonda .
Pool not heated? Have a drink and it'll seem better. A fair few years ago me and the other half took a trip down to England's south coast in June. The weather was circa 16°c and sea must have been close to freezing, yet we still forced ourselves to go swimming! The pool temp in the day will be much better than that, and in the night? I'm still not convinced the 24/7 thing is much more than a promo for the pool party on Saturdays, either that or it's all quiet because they haven't thought it through and it'll only kick off in the hotter months of the year. BTW, I love the fact that on this website as long as you are courteous of others and such like, you can express your opinons freely without fear of a moderator deleting your post without a just cause.
Took a look at the weather and it looked like they went through a couple day cool spell, if that pool is not heated looks like we need to put bodies in that pool to compensate...plus some shots
I was just on tripadvisor and read a few of the new reviews where people were saying that the sexy pool was in fact heated when they were there in the past couple of weeks.
yes the sexy pool was heated last January.. Which made it nice. However the quiet pool, which I didn't venture over too I heard was Ice cold. Major Shrinkage and Rock hard nips.... Of 3 pools, 1 is heated, I know where I will be! 11 more days....
Well heated or not it was very cold. Two days ago, there was no one in the pool all afternoon, so Im not really buying heated. But to be honest, I dont know what difference the heat would actually make temp wise. I was told the quiet pool and sexy pool felt the same temperature by some that felt both.
Ok, thats it. For 7 trips I have wanted to know what the hell the temp is in the pool. I am going out to the pool shed and getting a thermometer to bring to mexico in 8 weeks. I'll put it with the bikinis so I don't forget it. I'll take the temp of all three pools, I'll see how much they heat up during the day and if some heat up more than others.
