OK, so this is going to sound really strange. I need some sprinkles. You know, the little candies you put on ice cream (rainbow sprinkles are usually the best) My nickname is actually sprinkles, that's how much I LOVE them. Last year I went on this crazy search for sprinkles in cancun, because mexican sprinkles are WAY different than US sprinkles. Mexican ones are crunchy, US ones are waxy. Turns out - Canadian sprinkles are the EXACT SAME as Mexican ones. Even the same brand that I would buy in the US would be waxy here, and crunchy in Canada. Any indication of how much I love them...I bought 15 jars of them on my last visit to Canada....I have none left. The lady at the grocery store behind me actually asked if they were on sale cause I was buying so many. Nope. Just buying whatever they had before I left the country. That being said - if anyone would like to bring me a jar or two of rainbow sprinkles from Canada between Feb 19-25...I would love you forever. I will also accept the "chocolate" ones.
:liebe011: Yeah! One can never have too many sprinkles. Now I need to find something to do with them in cancun...
canadian sprinkles I bring Mexican gum back to the states.I had a worker go to Sams and bring me some boxes to take home. I paid him well and we were both happy at the end.maybe I can get one of them to get some sprinkles at the same time they get my gum.
It was impossible to find them in Cancun. In Cabo I got addicted to them at the resort I was at (Riu), and then got some at the Haagen Daaz store. I went on a mad cab ride to EVERY store we could find in cancun and never found any. I'll have to stick to begging canadians for some of their tasty sprinkles.
the sprinkles that you would put on ice cream or cakes. I want to call them cake mate? The rainbow sprinkles are gluten free..I'm hearing rumors that i can't have the chocolate ones. Only if you're from canada though...the USA ones are gross.
