Clothing Optional usually means 'you get to choose what (if anything) you wear -- not managment or other guests. Two weeks ago at TT Los Cabos, some (less than half) the women went topless some of the time. All the men were wearing shorts or similar around the pool. Even had to wear a shirt to get a coffee mid morning. Similar rules applied last time we were at Desire (Cancun and Los Cabos) though totally naked around the pool and roof-top hot tubs was normal ( 85% or more). Dress code in all restaurants was upscale. I don't expect any of that to change. When Los Cabos was Desire it was so laid back it almost fell asleep at times. A bit more 'vibe' would have helped. Perhaps West Coasters are more tranquil than East Coast and central states/provinces. PNK
We're also wondering about the prices. That is what makes TTR so attractive, regardless of Cancun or Cabo. We were going to try TTR Cabo over NYE in 2012/2013 just to have the lifestyle feel/less of the party BUT with a good NYE party...we are lifestylers and mean no offense but we've heard that Desire attracts older couples more than 20-40 yr old couples. Is there any truth to that???
Desire Riviera Maya does generally have a crowd with the median age somewhere around 45, probably one of the reasons is that the high room pricing tends to be a negative factor for many younger couples. When the Los Cabos location was a Desire type property (before switchinng to a Temptation type property) prices were considerable less per night than the Desire Riviera Maya property. Desire Los Cabos also had tended to draw a somewhat younger crowd and mostly from the west coast
Desire Forum CLG, you posted a link to the Desire Forum somewhere. I can't find it now. Could you post again, thanks!
