What I'm seeing at the Desire Los Cabos Website right now shows their rates as of May 1st to be about the same as before they converted to a Temptation property - ie pricing is a bit more than Temptation Cancun but considerably less than Desire Riviera Maya.

I also think that with the return to the Desire concept in the Cabos location, you will also see a return to better food and liquor quality that are the style at Desire type properties and probably a lot more exposed flesh around the pool and hot tub ! :wink3:

We agree totally. We also enjoy the wilder side of Desire, etc,, but it's a true story; that scenario was pretty unbelievable.
We've never seen anything like it at any 'wild & crazy' resort we've attended.

btw....Book it! T'will be the best birthday ever! :aktion033:

Desire is clothing optional. So for someone to have some clothes on is not uncommon. My wife and I love what Desire offers, but we don't do the sun at all and use sun protective clothing during the day. There is no need to feel uncomfortable with your decision about how much or how little clothes you wear, it is about having the kind of fun that makes your vacation special for you.

Since I was the only fella (as stated above) with boardshorts on that last day (the Desire takeover) I definitely was out of place. Late that same afternoon I got out of the trunks and truly loved it (no wet clinginess). It WAS strange, tho, walking around the staff whom we had gotten to know. My opinion is yes, you will feel out of place with your trunks on as you will likely be the only one.Just my opinion. However, I recommend you throw back a shot, take a deep breath, and join the club. What is more interesting to me has been all the comments here that they don't want to see naked men. I know my wife doesn't care to either...Which is strange considering she loves the male form...And I realize now the guy dangling his stuff in my wife's grill upstairs in the hot tub was an anomaly..

Just a FYI - the Cabo property remains as a Temptation concept and pricing level until April 30, 2012 then on May 1, 2012 it changes to a Desire concept property. So you are sort of mixing apples and oranges :)

On the Desire Cabo Website they show the price per night is the same in Aug as it is for when it becomes a Desire property on May 1st - $270 a night per couple

I appreciate that, I just showing what the Travel companies are going to be charging. Booking directly through the resort is always more expensive and doesn't reflect the actual cost.
I hope the Oranges ( :) ) are going to be good, cause there still in the Apple complex
You can increase the quality of the food, and entertainment, but $1400 more is a bit steep for that.
Time will tell if they fill the rooms.
Do you know what the difference are that reflect the increase in price?
Beside the food and maybe changing the sheet more often :)

It's difficult to tell what the travel package companies like Expedia, Sunwing, etc are going to be charging for air/room packages to Desire Los Cabos once it opens since they don't have prices up as yet for Desire Los Cabos.

The one thing that you can count on is that flights from Canada will not be "cheap" - lol
