Can someone give me information on Temptations? The last time I was there it was 2005 and it was Blue Bay Getaway and it was a blast especially "Anything Goes Night". Does Tempations still have that? Also, tell me more about the Theme Nights? And what nights are they? We are going to be there Monday January 16th to leaving Saturday January 21st. We want to make sure and enjoy Temptations to the fullest.
we were there 3 times last year and from what I understand, things have tamed down alot since then since Chinos is gone. We haven't been but highly recommend the Boobs Cruise with Steve from this site. The reviews are AWESOME and Chinos is there. More the entertainment we're used to. Didn't ever stay at Blue Bay(Wishing now I had Cause it sounds like more fun than the other places we stayed). Went to TTR last year and had a good time. Some said it was about the same and some said it was a little tamer, but most we talked to were still coming back. Cuppies is straight up on Steve's Boob's cruise, It was a blast. I was there in June and October and didn't see an "anything goes" night, so I think that may be gone. The only official theme nights were Lingerie night and a pool party night. The other themes are organized on these boards, and have included things like school girl night, pirate night, glow night, etc. I would describe the resort as more uninhibited than most places, but not quite as wild as hedo. Every day there's a pool contest for about an hour, and those can be pretty funny. The raunch factor kind of depends on the crowd at the time you're there. June was X-Rated at times, but October never got beyond a PG-13. Typically, people spend the day by the pool bar and relaxing--at the sexy pool if you want to meet people, and at the quiet pool if you need some "me" time. The Boobs Cruise is a great chance to get wild and meet lots of people quickly. Nights generally involve some sort of show, maybe a little more risque than other resorts I've been to. Then, people hang out at the outdoor lounge. There might be some dancing, but not always--again, depends on the crowd. The staff arranges shuttles to the nightclubs every night if you want to go out. I think if you get a quieter crowd, TTR isn't much different from other resorts: rooms are nice, beds are harder than I'm used to, and the food is fine, but not something to get really excited about. If you're looking for a wilder party, it's a good idea to go at a time when you know a rowdy group will be there and join in with them.
I too was there around the 2005 timeframe and Chino was there too. Yes BBG did have an anything goes night and was quite entertaining. I returned this past January and they did not have "anything goes", however they had great entertainment. I am going back for my 3rd time Jan 16-22, 2012 and looking forward to making more friends and great memories. If I had my way I would go to TTR more than once a year. I just can't get enough of it. Maybe I need to look back through my photos from 2005 and see is wtreno was in any of those .... anyway see ya there on the 16th and I'll buy your 1st drink at the sexy pool.
