I looked for a CD on line ..if anyone knows a good one.. please let me know.. the belly dancing exercising show I saw on tv was a but different than the classes I took..either way i guess its good exercise.. the classes were fun though..
Ok....finally made it back to the gym! Having to switch things up some since I'm working nights now. Can't make it to very many classes, so yesterday worked with the gym owner to plan out resistance (weight) training. He says that's where I need to be focusing anyway...doesn't want me to lose anymore weight. So I guess I can officially say I'm in weight maintenace & toning phase. It's been a long but worthwhile road these last 10 months...a little more than 40 pounds lost and a drop in body fat from 29% to 23%. Hopefully it'll help me live longer, that was the primary goal!
Wow way to go, and good for you. Since we've been back I've lost the 3 lbs and stuck now. But I'm not giving up healthy diet and a bit more exercise and as soon as I get that home gym...LOL then more.
I do my weigh in today at jenny but according to my scale this morning .. I have lost 7 lbs.. We all know that is crazy.. just goes to show how bloated one can be after eating and drinking on vacation.. to me I didnt gain 5 pounds of fat on vacation..if i did how can 7lbs be gone this week... will see what the scale says at jenny tonight..I guess 5 lbs this week..which is still good.. ahha!!
wow great guys!! i have been behaving really well this week. going to the gym, and really enjoyed it last night. i think the groove is coming back!! pants are looser, so i think there is progress. just have to keep the big picture in mind!!!! probly wont make the goal for new years, but will be alot better off than not even working on it!!
That's great, Kim! I did pretty good maintaining over Thanksgiving then blew it the first of the week. Back on track now though! Met with the trainer on Tuesday, went to the gym with Jim last night, have kickboxing today and trainer again on Saturday morning...this stomach will be gone if it kills me!!!!
lol.. well its only a tiny little tummy..lol so it shouldnt take too much.. I cant seem to get back to exercising .. I want to get in a routine so I have it set as habit before i quit smoking again.. so, I dont know if I am procrastinating on exercise because I will have to stop smoking or what it is .. lol just cant seem to make it to the gym..grrrrr
Girls you all looked awsome in Cabo. I'm happy to report I've lost the 3lbs I gained and an additional 1.5.. on the right track the scale is on the move...LOL
