Has anyone ever tried this diving involving the life-size human sculptures that lie underwater between Cancun and Isla Mujeres ?

Yeah, that looks like it would be fun to see. I wonder if Steve's Boobs Cruise could ever snorkel around there? Or is that not an option?

Probably not an option unfortunately. Boats are licensed for certain areas to prevent overcrowding and I'm pretty sure the licences given out for here are just for the dive outfits rather than pleasure boats.

I think Aquatours do a dive trip there.

I have seen the underwater museum. If you talk to Boris the scuba diving instructor to the left of the towel hut he can take you down to see it after a few sessions in the pool. The dive is about 30 feet down and the location is over by Isla Mujeres.

Thank you for the information, I've never really been interested before, love snorkeling, but now I'm really seriously thinking about this.
