yeah we do have the Good stuff, not like some of the crap they try and pass off as beer and alcohol at TTR. The beer had a bitter taste to it, they actually ran out for 1.5 days and tried to serve warm beer out of bottles. Some of the stuff was good when mixed.ie Captain Morgan. People had a hard time getting a decent shot of tequila, pretty sad for a 4 star Mexican resort. Thers a Mega store across the street where you can get good beer and Tequila , or a liquir store 10 minute walk east of the resort. the bar fridge in the room will hold 12 beers easily, make sure their cold before you put them in.
Maybe you should have tried the margaritas and the Tecate. It is Mexico, I think that is what they do best. Or maybe I'm just easy. I am grateful, I don't know where else I can get all inclusive for two people for $166 a night. In California I can get that for a night stay in Holiday Inn for a bed only.
Mitymouse, we agree, we travel a lot by bike and it costs us that much per day at least, especially if we want to stay in a decent hotel with average to better meals. To be in Cabo and be catered to, for that amount.. we will take that any day -- 2 days
Don,t get me wrong we still had a great time and the Margaritas were ok (girly drink) and about half the people liked the strong beer. Yes it is a good bargain, but sucks when you have to cross the street to get a beer you don't have to put a lime in it to cover the bitter taste. The tiqiuila they had was equivalent to moonshine , just plain aweful,,,,,,, but again the great staff Carlo,s,,,,,,, great people, great rooms, good food, beautiful beach& ocean, awesome country side ,,great bargain, great airport, good entertainment some nights, when you add it all up it is a great place to go too , and will return with my beer Have fun guys and don't wreck the place for when I return :lotsofmichaelfs:
