We were there with a group in mid-April and the sand was burning hot and you had to scoot from the rinsing shower to your bed on the beach....LOL

Thanks for the detailed TR Brewster.

Although I've never been to Cabo I can't imagine anywhere in the World having quite the vibe that Paty O's does in Cancun. It's hard to equal I'm sure.

As for May, well the weather is beautiful in Cancun too, it's before hurricane season, prices are low and the sand wont burn your feet here. Also a shorter flight for most folks and a more diverse clientele.

Patty o's is fun. To about 10 o'clock when they shuttle people to the bars close by , then it kind of sucks. That was the biggest pet peeve we had of Temptations cancun. Both places are great , just different

Thanks very much for the comparison report, having been to TTR Cancun twice we wondered about trying something different, aka Cabo. Sounds like we made the right decision in sticking to Cancun. We love the nights at Paty o's, nothing beats the social scene there.

    New Update:

Seems we had some new arrivals yesterday and they seemed to change the pace a little... Live band ended up being the stage for some people taking their clothes off and dancing a little dirty... a sexier vibe then what we saw the other nights... but still find folks to be 'vanilla' just tempted to do something wild and crazy. My advice is to make an effort and have friends come with you or at least meet like minded couples online who want the same experience you do... I think we were hoping to find a sexually charged atmosphere at night at the hot tub with some opportunity to meet folks to continue the party, but it's just not that easy as you can't tell who is interested or not... if I had to guess, less than 5% are in the lifestyle... but really who knows... we are very social people but its just not the easiest place to get to know folks... still hoping that it changes... and will keep you posted :)

Hi, we just got back and really can't say much more than Brewster, though I think I would be a bit harsher about the 360 night. We as guests were invited to this party but once we arrived were told to go sit in the back corner and that the tables were reserved for outsiders. Being stubborn told them no we would be fine at the table right up front, they didn't bother with us after that. We did go to the Disco that night, the only night is was open but I don't think the other guests were even aware it was open. Might have been a total of 10 people.
I would also like to say it was really good to see the Partydollgirl, Brewster, the Donalds again and it was great to meet Beach<3R, chris-n-allison hope to catch up with you all again... but for us in Cancun.

The "hot-tub" wasn't hot not even close. We sat in it a couple times honestly the ocean was warmer, many people asked for it to be turned up but they didn't. Now we're from Canada and we are use to cold somwhat but sitting in a cold tub in the evening wasn't the least bit sexy. The other thing we noticed were that the fire pits were never lit even on a chilly breezy evening.
Jeff was not impressed with the food at all.
Though we've been told not to compare Temptations Cancun and Tempatations Cabo I find it hard to do, the same as comparing any other place. We feel Tempations Cancun is the place for us. We feel there was more... much more to choose from. Food, atmosphere, pools, and people.
I found the rooms to be alot nicer in Cabo but really how much time do you spend in the room.
The staff was amazing at the resort, but they are amazing in Cancun also.
We love the beach in Cabo, we did go in and tried to ride the waves, but you enter at your own risk. Both of us lost our sunglasses but we had fun.
Would we go back? Doubtful, if we came across an amazing deal then maybe we would consider going back. I feel that Temptation Cabo is a great place to relax and unwind and go with no expectations.
I will admit, 1 week in Cabo and I do feel rested, where as 1 week in Cancun I almost need a holiday after my holiday... So I guess it comes down to what you want and need. I feel if you work it right you can have both at Cancun.
Cancun Temptation is the place for us. I'm glad we experienced Cabo.
    Looking forward to April.:xyxthumbs:

I agree with everything my Brewster said and I agree totally with the above statement, I think its hard to be social because of the way things are set up.. the main bar splits you off into smaller groups and it makes you feel like you would be intruding on a private conversation.. it was set up to be a couples lifestyle resort where you might want to be in your own little area with a couple but this resort is not a couples resort anymore.. they should change the main seating to tables and chairs and make room for you to walk around to meet others.. even at the bar.. your back is facing everyone.

We will keep this short and sweet. We love both resorts, Temptation Cancun 5 times and this will be our fourth trip to Temptation Los Cabos. We have met alot of people at both resorts and have never had a bad trip to either resort. With Cancun being at least 4 times bigger than Los Cabos if offers more people to meet and a few more services but that is to be expected. We find Los Cabos to be a more romantic spot for us but we never have any trouble having fun and meeting others. Cancun is where we go when we plan a 1 week party trip and yes we do enjoy those alot. It is too bad that your trip was not what you expected. Go in April with Rob and T's group and you will be worn out when you return home! The only reason we posted this is that we hope others will not be scared away from trying this resort. PS so much for the short.....
