I'm not here to piss anyone off, but I do seem to be good at it, so might as well do it now. I feel I have to say something after reading posts over the last few months. I was really hoping Temptations would be different then here in Ohio. We are long time swingers and have gone to clubs and so on. It seems that those in the "Lifestyle" and those who are "Lifestyle Friendly" only are to those who feel the same as them.

I agree that guys who touch, stalk, and are generally obnoxious should be dealt with. But some of us "Lifestylers" enjoy singles. Both men and women. The dressing sexy and having guys stare and drool is part of the alure. The ego burst it provides to know that you are a MILF and sexy at 40 is exciting. I highly doubt anyone cares if a single girl stands and stares right? Even if she was in a t-shirt and sweats. If you dont like people staring, dont go or dont dress in netting. If you dont like singles, guys included, go to a cpls resort. But please dont take one of the few "Lifestyle Friendly" places around that welcomes singles and convert it. Its not for you to decide how people enjoy their fantacies. Its for you to decide where the best place for you is to live YOURS out. We are choosing TTR Cancun specifically over Cabos, and Desires because it welcomes singles.

So if you are single, respectful, and fun. We'll be there in June '12. Find us you can hang with us

If the majority of the groups of singles we have bumped into in the past couple of years were respectful and fun we would agree with you. After 7 trips we're trying Cabo.

    I agree, excellent post OHcpl

As a single guy traveling I appreciate the openness of the couples at TTR but as i am with anyone, I am respectful of their boundaries.

In our experience there is stark difference between a single guy traveling alone or with a friend versus large packs of guys (i.e. 5-20) lurking around Patty O's at midnight. Last time we were there we met two guys (friends) and they were a lot of fun. We got to know them over a few days and they were very respectful. Sure, eventually there was some flirting and comments about how attractive my wife was, but since we were comfortable with them and had got to know them the comments were just taken as good fun.

On the other hand, during our last visit in March 2011 there seemed to be many larger groups of guys. These guys apparently thought they had a chance to score with my wife by opening the "conversation" with lewd remarks, followed by whispering between the group, followed by following her around the bar for a few hours. There was no touching or physical aggressiveness, but that may have been because I'm 6'5, 210lbs. I'm not one to stick right next to my wife constantly while at Patty O's, but on this night I had to stay glued to her most of the time. Totally spoiled the social fun we were trying to have with the other more respectful people at TTR!

As a single woman, I certainly don't mind men flirting and chatting me up (I'd end up being single forever if I objected to that lol), but there's a big difference between that and being manhandled if I haven't invited physical contact. I think that is all that people were trying to say here. No one wants to dampen the sexually-charged atmosphere of the resort, but all activity needs to be CONSENSUAL, whether it's between swingers or non-swingers.

I really don’t think people here want to ditch single guys from TTR. I know lots of single guys that do just fine.

At the same time I have been shoved out of the way by a group of single guys when talking to a single lady. Tried to school a single guy on his own that putting his hands on a lady without their permission was not a good then, which he turned around to walking up to women and saying “I understand that I’m not supposed to do this” and then putting his hand on their leg (read clueless). I’ve also seen single guys hit on a woman while her husband is standing right next to her.

But I don’t think those guys, or types of guys, come here. If they did maybe they could get a clue and modify their behavior.

And since I’m a guy I can say…. There is a big difference between a guy standing there and drooling and a woman standing there drooling. Now I freely admit that there are some women that can rival guys in that activity but not the vast majority. Somehow woman just seem to have a little more class when doing it. :)

Are we not missing the point of the OP here (or maybe I am). I don't think this is the same 'we don't want singles' debate that comes up often. Have a re-read of the original post :)

I read the OP that although this couple dislike obnoxious people as do we all, they do enjoy getting attention from respectful singles. They feel that Temptation is unique because it's about the only lifestyle friendly resort where singles are actually welcome, and that is something they are into.

While that might be offensive to the majority of couples, there are other couples who might actually be seeking exactly that.

Makes it difficult for the single guys I guess!

BOOM BAM!!!! Steve you hit the nail right on the head. No one likes obnoxious people. But unfortunately that happens to most of us from about 16-25 yrs old LOL. All Im asking is please quit making the request or even mentioning that this should be cpls only. There are enough of those resorts, dont take this one away from us.

BTW my wife is smoking hot. I'll have pix up as we get closer, have to find some PG ones. And she gets hit on all the time with me there. Its not rude, its a compliment. Hell, half the time when we go out they are buying my beer and dont even know it. LOL And every once in a while a special few get lucky... The same goes for ladies, I get hit on too. Granted its only about once a year.

All Im saying is have fun, enjoy what you enjoy. But never try and stop what others enjoy just beause you dont want to try it.
