Hey all my wife and I are heading down November 25-30. This is our second trip to Cancun and our first to Temptations resort. I'm just trying to gather up some Intel on local activities that we shouldn't miss while we have the chance. I wanted to hit up xel-ha last time and was wondering if anyone thought it was worth it or had other suggestions. Same questions for bars or restaurants. Is there just something that blows your mind that's in the area to give a go. We are also thinking of doing the boobs boat tour since that looks it could be a blast. thinks in advance!
don't know if you've done these before but Coco Bongo is a must! and Chetchen - Itza is a long day but unbelievable. We have never been to Xel-Ha but have heard from several that it is awesome. HIGHLY recommend taking the Ultramar Ferry from Embarcado (just a five minute walk towards the hotel zone) I think its $15 roundtrip? We like to catch the 9am ferry then spend the day over on Isla Mujeres and take the 5pm ferry back (last one of the day or your stuck there?) We rent a golf cart and tour around the island stopping for some cold cervezas on the way and then shopping and lunch at Jacks bar and Grill (owned by an american couple).
Yes, definitely do the boobs boat tour (aka Steve's Boobs Cruise) to Isla Mujeres, if you want ''blow your mind'' type of fun!
Stop for cervezas? Just go through the drive through beer store. I have done that twice, even pulled in a parking lot with beer in hand, parked beside a police car, got out said hola to the officers and went along with my busniess!
:bandit:When I said "stop for cervezas" I meant at every corner store on Isla while driving around in the golf car! So cool! Don't think I would go so far as to push my luck with the POLICIA though. I asked one where there was a bathroom and if looks could kill I'd be dead! :deadhorse:
