I really didnt want to mention anything on this topic, Cause I truly believe that we need honest Trip reports, However, I think if you write a trip report about a negative, then go the every thread on the board and continue to explain the negatives it does get old reading about it... I was in full backing of the original trip report and the lack of service and the other complaints, but then its on 5 or 6 threads now, thats what private messages are for, or a quick note to say .. read my trip report, but to hop on every thread and find a way to inject her complaints does get on some nerves. Again, we need reports like that for the rookies and newbies or whatever, I just dont want to read about it on every thread... in my humble opinion...
My two cents.... You will never find another Chinos anywhere in the world. He is one of a kind. Both Sara and Brenda have plenty of yrs experience in Entertainment Staff of Cancun resorts. And Brenda has worked at Temp and Desire. I think you need to come to grips with what they have and they have a great team. You can go to Cabo, Vegas, Miami, or any other resort in the world and never find a character like Chinos. I go to a lot of resorts and know most of the Entertainment Staff in Cancun. You have a good thing there. Time to move on from comparing anyone to Chinos. Even Omar, Christian and all the other boys can't fill his shoes
Chinos is a one of a kind guy. And I'm sorry for any of those who never got the chance to meet him. He put the fun in the days events. My husband and I will be visiting TTR Cancun this December. We can't wait. We've started the count down. My B-day is at the end of April and I think I'm going to ask for TTR Cancun for my present. I wanna become an April Addict. Cheers to all!

We were there in Sept for the first time and had an awesome time. We had read all the great reviews about the entertainment crew and we were really excited for the fun times to be had. The crew was a little mellow and having difficulty getting participants, but my wife and I got everybody excited and participating. It truly is whatever you make of it. We're excited to go back, not because of the staff, but because of the people that go there. We planned our next trip already with the September Dirty Dozen group and we still can't decide if we're going to go in April or May also. The reason we can't decide, because both groups look like they know how to have fun and let loose. The people will be the ones that make it fun! The only reason we want to go in either April or May is because of the people we've met here. My wife always seems to make people have fun around her. :flash:
I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head, Its the people around and the people you meet that make each trip better then the last, It was still fun watching Chino do his thing and run the show, but with our great April group entertainment wasnt an issue... I dont think you could go wrong with either our April Group or the May Group. Though I must warn ya, one trip and you will be hooked lol, for years I used to say I wanted to try somewhere else in the world, but I couldnt imagine an April trip without my "Family" .. Im addicted , I drank the Kool aid haha
We drank everything but Kool Aid and got hooked! Either way, I know we'll have a great time with either group! If the entertainment staff makes a great time even better, then that's just a bonus.
