I've been secretly lurking this forum for the last few weeks in anticipation of a trip with some friends. So, first off... THANK YOU!!! This forum has been extremely helpful with any of the questions I've had so far. It's great to see a friendly group of people I do have 2 questions though. 1) I am going to be at TTR Nov 6th for a week with 4 friends. Which means that 3 of us are going to be sharing a room while 2 others will share another one. My question is, are there any specific rooms I should be requesting that will give the triple occupancy room - More space? Or are they all pretty much the same 2) We chose Cancun for a few different reasons. One of them being that it is a tad bit more gay friendly than other destinations. Our group has 3 of us women, one straight guy and a gay guy. My second question is in regards to my gay friend. While the resort is definately couples oriented (which is perfect for single girls like me), will my gay friend feel out of place? Or is it a totally open-minded venue that he will be able to mingle in without hesitation? I do realize the sensitivity of the second question and I have been debating how to phrase it here so that no one gets offended by it. My apologies if it gets taken the wrong way.
Fellow calgarian, welcome! Too bad I will miss you guys I get there on the 14th. I too will be in a triple room, not too many differences in rooms. You will have the two queen beds so 2 of you have to snuggle. Your gay friend will have fun as long as he wants to. Relax and enjoy!
Hey Soaks, Im from New Jersey where I really don,t care if your friend is gay or not. Or I want to know is, is he a party person. If so me and my gf will be at TTR Nov 8th. You will know me because I,ll have a different saying t-shirt on everyday. C U there.

Last week when I was there there were quite a few gay people (men and women, couples and singles). One night at paty o's there were two men doing body shots off each other at the bar... so I'd say, yeah, pretty open-minded! And as for the rooms, the ones that I saw were pretty spacious.
In April we brought an air mattress and took turns using it. Over a week we each only used it once because we ended up in someone else's room. We're doing the same thing next week.
Omg....till he fell off the bar we were all watching the fun!!! I think you will have a great time, as long as you want to! We stayed in 3106, all double beds, all off the sexy pool, we loved it!
I don't know if it cost extra or not, but I did see a room with 2 double beds and a pull out sofa bed.
Soaks, Darn it... A very good friend of our's was going to come on this trip but had to back out due to another trip. He is gay and and a great guy. I know your friend and him would have hit it off. It seems from the post we have read ( we are newbies) your friend will be welcome and have a blast! See you there the 9th!
