5:12pm and it's still dry and overcast with little in the way of wind. One report I read made me laugh it said winds were 8mph with gusts of 15mph. Can you even call 15mph a "gust"? The airlines don't want to put on too many flights for them only to be empty so made cancellations. But now the hurricane has become a non event many people are going ahead with their original plans and there is over demand for the flights available. Another amusing note was that Trina from USA Transfers mentioned that around 50% of all their re-arranged transfer services were to switch from Thursday to Friday, and the other half were to switch from Friday to Thursday! Anyway glad your flights eventually worked out DocnNurse and Sunlover. Remember everyone to let your transfer company know of your new flight arrangements.

They both fizzled out. One very quickly, the other a few days later. There's still plenty of 'red blobs' in the Caribbean though that may bring further bad weather. Nothing special about the satellite pic below, it usually looks similar at this time of year.
