Liking the decrease in category strength but looks like cancun will still be in for crappy weater for a bit after it leaves, as it looks like its staying in a close vicinity to Cancun? 11 days and counting and hoping/praying for sunny hot weather ?????
It is getting brighter outside and folks are starting to get in the pool. Been here since Sunday, can't say its been the best weather, but there has been a window of opportunity each day enjoy the pool. Time to suit up and head out!!! Paul

Seems like the past couple of years the weather forcast has always been the same showing rain but, the weather always had lots of sun. We'll plan on staying on the sunny side....always on the sunny side....
If I could give you all one bit of info.. Stop looking at extended forecasts. Steve has said over and over again, there is no way to predict the weather a week or two out...take this storm for instance. Anything can happen. The forecasts have called for rain every day for the last 6 months. It's rainy season, but the ration has been on the sunny said the last 6 months. Even the TV weather stations here, say rain every damn day. It just doesn't happen. And if you see any natural disaster, what is the weather like the day or two after...SUNNY!!!!! Don't stress yourselves out.... there is no point. A BAD DAY IN CANCUN IS BETTER THEN A GOOD DAY BACK HOME!!!!!! Words to live by!
All quiet in Cancun at the moment. Cloudy and overcast but mainly dry with just a shower now and again. As already reported, Rina is now a Tropical Storm but is too weak to push on and move out of the area as quickly as if she were a hurricane. Looks like the storm will be hanging around a while and the track has it performing a U turn. At some point the storm will fizzle out entirely but when that will happen is just another of those things that are unpredictable at the moment. Crazy that 5 days ago we knew nothing of this storm, 2 days ago we were expecting a Cat 3 hurricane and now it could well be nothing more than a bit of rain. That's tropical weather for you!
American Airlines Just received a call from American Airlines and cancelled our flight again!! Started our for today and now cancelled for tomorrow also. Saturday flights are full of course now and the flights for Sunday that they want to put us on suck!! So not sure what is going to happen here!! Will keep you posted!! Tina
