This storm will be way gone by then. Bad weather can only be forecast around 5 days in advance and even then not very accurately. There is nothing to stop another hurricane forming between now and then, hurricane season runs right through to the end of November.

Thanks everyone for all the well wishes, too many to reply individually but it's much appreciated. We'll all be fine, we've been through much worse before. With the hurricane seemingly decreasing in power I'm wondering if it may turn out to be a non event in the end, like so many before it.

Latest maps are showing it may even weaken to a cat 1 before it moves north into the cancun area. which would be just a rain and heavy wind prospect which is good news for all involved unless it changes again. still can do damage thought but wudnt say it will be devistation like wilma. so anyone with trips just after other than the odd down tree and beach errosion, fingers crossed should be ok .

Hey Tina, changed our flights to Sunday from Thursday, just have to spend all day flying dont arrive until 645 pm, but we will be there for 8 days, looking ofrward to seeing you two and lets have a great time.
