HEY STEVE, Do you think all will be good weather-wise by Nov 7th which is about a 12 days from now??? I know things are hard to predict this far away but hoping for good news. If not I'll try to reschedule for the following week???? any advice/info is appreciated thanks again
Steve, thanks so much for the updates on the hurricane. I'm hoping you and your beautiful family stay safe and don't sustain any damage from this storm! Of course, also hoping it's followed by beautiful weather for our arrival this Friday, but our vacation is secondary to the safety of all our friends living in Cancun. Hope to see many of you on Monday's booze cruise (okay, I guess it's "Boobs Cruise" now? lol)...but I've been on that boat during a storm before, so I'll be a maybe until the weather is a little more clear!
Hey Steve been checking that webcam and it sure starting to look dark. Worried about you all take care we are thinking about you and your family and those of you that are there stay safe.
prayers Love and prayers for Steve,Janet and family and hoping all of our friends at temptations and in cancun stay safe.. see you all in 4 weeks ..my 2005 vacation was cancelled due to wilma , but I travelled 3 monthes after the hit and saw the terrible aftermath and the video footage of it was terrible, nature at its deadliest.
Things are looking better today. Cancun Live Webcam - Live Webcam in Cancun The sun is out and it's quite warm (28C /82F). There's no sign of any wind downtown. The hurricane is still Cat 2 but is not now expected to intensify further and the latest forecast has downgraded the hurricane to a Cat 1 by the time it reaches us, there is discussion that it is starting to break apart a little and become less organised. Category 1's can still cause a mess but nothing like the damage a major hurricane (Cat 3 -5). Hurricane force winds extend for 25 miles around the center, which is quite small as these things go.
