We all now that Chinos is gone for now and I don't like it one bit. We've been to TTR 33 times some with Chinos there some when he was gone. The one thing we figured out is that the people that go to TTR make the place and the fun. We'll be there in 4 days and will meet alot of great people and will make our own fun. There is no place like TTR for us. We would like to have Chinos there but we'll have a blast and party on. A good attitude is a wonderful thing for a great time. Come see us. Believe me we'll let the management know we want Chinos back. Kay and Bob

Sorry to hear that you had crappy weather on your trip. We have never been there when it has rained more than an hour or two. Glad to see you got out and had fun anyways. We did like Sara although she is somewhat hard to understand.
The weather sucked last week, we returned on Thursday night after staying at TTR Oct. 15-20. After what I read here and other places online I was very excited. However, with the bad weather and some other problems, it wasn't what I expected at all, and now I am seeing part of the reason why. Saturday and Sunday everything was inside and that wasn't too great. We hung out on Nice Shoes but it smelled musty, was very crowded and we didn't know anyone. It wasn't really a "get to know you" type atmosphere in the dance area, we just went back to our room at about 1am Sunday night thinking WTF did we do, and why didn't we go to Vegas instead?! Monday we were at the sexy pool for the first time in 2 days, but it was cloudy - however everyone was pretty much out there. We got the last 2 open seats right by the loudest speaker next to the door to the buffet. We watched topless aerobics in the pool and hung out for hours, but nothing else really happened. Wasn't really what I thought it would be, and I guess now I know why :-( Tuesday it was raining again, so no pool :-( Then Wed. we were supposed to go on the Boobs Cruise but my husband really wanted to see some of the sights and it was our last full day in Cancun (first visit). Losing the first few days with the storm really, really sucked! Waking up to warm sun on Thursday morning, the day we were leaving, was a super huge bummer! I hope I can talk my husband into coming to TTR again to see what it is really like, with normal weather and without some of the other problems we had with drops of love and our first crappy room with the dirty jacuzzi - don't know if that is possible but we'll see ... Would have loved to see what really goes on at the sexy pool regularly, that is why we booked at TTR! Hope everyone there this week is safe and secure with the hurricane! Makes me feel guilty for complaining about our weather problems! Glad we narrowly missed the hurricane!
There are plenty more hotels in Cancun where you might feel more comfortable. Luckily, most folks on this site aren't here to complain, but to stay in touch with the many friends that have been made at TTR!! Here's to all the repeaters out there! See ya all again in April!! :clappyinghappy:
