This topic....it's been discussed for years, and there will be 30 more posts about it between now and March. :banghead:
Well my friend, as you can see by my number of posts, I'm not a regular on this site, and therefore did not know there were multiple threads on the same topic. If it is so frustrating for you to see 'this again', then you simply didnt need to take the time to respond and instead, just press the 'Back' button. All we wanted, was to know what to expect when we arrived as we havent had the privelege of going to ANY spring break, let alone one in cancun. Unlike yourself!
the ratio died because its now full of 15+ groups of lads from london in custom made tshirts :ranting1:
There is nothing wrong with wanting to know. What Fletch is trying to say is that there are better way to find the information. Try the search feature for example. There is tons of information on this site if you know how to use the search feature. It reduces the amount of repeated threads and make moderators' live easier.
I might suggest you guys make a sticky titled "Top Ten questions for the first time Spring Breaker" or something like that, might help. Who knows.:daveandmo:
We agree! I don't know about the rest, but I would hate to travel all that way with a bunch of friends only to discover the actual ratio. There was a group that came in, think a bachelor party or something. I think there was about 14-16 guys, there was a couple issues. I didn't really notice but does TTR get that much Spring Break traffic? When we were there, age wise was maybe a low of 25 tops and up. I could be wrong here since we haven't been to TTR that much but I think the crowd is a little older than younger.
It's kind of like the weather questions on this site....If the search radial was used like its intended purpose, everyday we wouldn't see 3 posts about "what's the weather like". This damn "sausage" question is sooo incredibly annoying in every way. No disrespect to the OP, but now you know. TTR does not get a SB crowd. Maybe less then 20 ppl each week. Atleast that's how it was last Feb through April. a lot of those 20 are the young British guys in matching shits though.
Understand what many of you are saying, but if we're just going to direct people to the search function then might as well close the forum to new registrations, make it an archive and have a big arrow pointing to the search button. It definitely gets tedious answering the same questions time after time (I think I have had daily PM's about the weather for the last 9 years). If we enjoy creating a community then repetitive questions is something that is part and parcel of that as new people join who don't have the benefit of long term members experience of previous threads. Let's not put them off before they start.
